Demelza Fanshawe is an Essex based process painter and sculptor. Influenced by previous career spanning 22 years in the British military. Inspired by the Great War artists John and Paul Nash, contemporary artists Dame Phyllida Barlow and Cornelia Parker to name a few. 

 A principal theme of Demelza’s work is her relationship to her military past, family, society and spirit of place. Combining all elements in her practice, be it 2D or 3D.
