Chris Meigh-Andrews has traveled to Australia... 2022

CFS Artist Tenant Chris Meigh-Andrews has hopped over to Australia and is taking part in this group outdoor exhibition Desert Equinox 10th Anniversary: energy producing art in the arid zone.

30th September to 2nd October 2022

For three nights, from dusk, Desert Equinox 10th Anniversary offers a night viewing of works of 26 artists (including 11 who participated in the original exhibition). Walk until late, then stay until 9pm to enjoy performances on the desert stage.

Ten years ago, Desert Equinox came to Broken Hill. All who took part in this exhibition of solar-powered artworks, which was installed all around the city, witnessed the transformative power of community: the development of strong relationships between the artists and Broken Hill locals and arts workers was clearly critical to the success of the show, and ongoing goodwill surrounds its memory. These relationships have strengthened and deepened over the intervening decade, and will contribute once again to a shared celebration of the value of art and performance in Desert Equinox10th Anniversary.
